Paul, Steve & Kip met on Thursday May 12 at Sound Arena Studios located in Van Nuys California and played all Shock songs.   Kip invited Marty the drummer to fill in and Shock sounded just as good if not better than the last time together.  The possibility is even closer now to a reunion show or tour.

SHOCK +  THE SILENCERS-  Shock and the Silencers were two of the
pioneers of the early L.A. punk scene. The nine Shock tunes here
include the two highly sought after and really expensive KBD 7"
singles from 1978, "This Generation's On Vacation" and "We Were That
Noise" plus 4 songs previously unreleased in the United States.
Essential stuff!  The Silencers formed in 1978 and featured Steve
Reina from Shock plus Brian Hansen and Kat (who later went on to form
successful 80's band Legal Weapon). The Silencers never managed to
stay together long enough to release anything but are now being
released for the first time in 2003, nearly 25 years after they broke
