How did the world feel that November morning,
When one of the best cried out death has no warning.
In the blink of an eye so many lives were changed,
And another generation that will never be the same.
There are so many times and memories I'll never forget,
There's just as many years gone by I'm gonna live to regret.
We had so much stuff and things we had to do,
That we never got around to us, and now we never will.
Everyone comes to the world and everyone must leave,
Life is funny like that, life has no guarantee.
So long for now Gaylord. October 7, 1954- November 12, 2003. Steve, Paul & Kip
